Ahead of the upcoming Holi and Eid festivals, the police administration conducted a flag march in Mokama to review and strengthen security arrangements in the area. The march was carried out under the leadership of Rural SP Kundan Kumar and Barh Sub-Divisional Officer Garima Lohiya, with a visible police presence across key locations to ensure preparedness before the celebrations.
The exercise was aimed at reassuring residents and maintaining law and order during the festive period. Police teams moved through various parts of Mokama, assessing ground-level security arrangements and sending a message that authorities remain alert to prevent any disturbance during the festivals.
During the march, the administration issued a stern warning to anti-social elements. Officials stated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone creating ruckus, consuming alcohol in violation of rules or playing DJs without permission during the celebrations. Rural SP Kundan Kumar appealed to residents to celebrate Holi and Eid peacefully and maintain communal harmony. He emphasised that the police will closely monitor activities across the area and remain vigilant to ensure the festivals pass without any untoward incidents.
